Seismic Interpretation

Project Summary:

The project aims to explore the application of seismic data - commonly used in the oil and gas industry - for mapping brackish aquifers located at depths between 1,000 to 5,000 feet. The project will support the investigation of brackish groundwater in the Yegua-Jackson Aquifer and improve our understanding of underlying aquifers (Sparta, Queen City, and Carrizo-Wilcox) by providing geologic information about the stratigraphic and structural features based on interpretations from existing seismic surveys.
